What is IEP? IEP Stands for Individualized Education Program. The IEP is the cornerstone of a quality education for each child with a disability. To create an effective IEP, parents, teachers, other school staff and often the student must come together to look closely at the student's unique needs.
Students on IEP will be put to Special Day Classes (SDC)
Some of our Special Day Classes include: Physical Education 7 (Regular PE except Easier), Math Basic, Activity Wheel (Elective), Reading/Language Arts Basic, Social Studies Basic, and Science Basic.
What is a Special Day Class (SDC)? Full-day classes for students with learning disabilities, speech and/or language impairments, serious emotional disturbances, cognitive delays, and a range of other impairments. Classes are taught by certified special education teachers.
